Over the course of the past year, Chilmark Research has spoken with well over a hundred organizations (providers, payers, vendors and investors) to understand the current state of the market as it prepares itself for far deeper partnerships between providers and payers. Try as we might, Chilmark Research has yet to uncover any comprehensive Convergence platform. Clearly, there is an enormous opportunity.

The migration from fee-for-service to fee-for-value payment models is putting tremendous strain on provider organizations of all sizes. Guidelines that do not add value, lack of interoperability across providers and across provider-payer systems, ever cumbersome reporting are all taking their toll, providing questionable value to the communities served.
